Job Description
As a Solution Architect you will guide your team in the definition, design and project delivery of services and analyze business processes. You will translate this into a suitable design for our customer, based on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Intelligent Cloud architecture solution: Foodware 365. In doing so, you guide customers during the implementation of projects and after implementation you optimize the solution. Together with your team you are responsible for a permanently appropriate solution for the customer in the functional areas: Trade & Logistics, Finance, Planning & Production.
The SA is at the forefront of a sales case to determine the defining technical and functional landscape where the SA can request the input of the various stream leads on the various streams in order to achieve an optimal design. Based on the aforementioned functional and technical landscape, the SA, together with the project leader, provides a full implementation calculation of the amount of time required to deliver the relevant landscape to the customer. The SA provides input for the further development of the project methodology
The SA is ultimately responsible in a project for the quality of the landscape in terms of optimal functional solution, technical performance of the environment and also for the project team with regard to the functional implementation of the various components and the substantive management thereof. You independently develop functional designs for customer-specific adjustments and supervise their development and implementation. You work together with architects, project managers and developers to serve the customer as well as possible. You regularly work on location with our customers in the Netherlands and occasionally abroad. You also contribute to the development of your team.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
· Be responsible for assigned product lines/legal entities
· Understand SLA requirements; ensure SLA’s are met. If issues arise, escalate timely so issues can be addressed
· Understand how their assigned areas are part of the overall process
· Establish good relationships with the business
· Ensure revenue and expenses are accurately recorded
· Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure any reconciling items are addressed timely
· Ensure monthly close deadlines are met
Education and Experience
· Requires Bachelor's degree, Master’s preferred
· Typically requires 3 years if implementing Microsoft Dynamics F&O/ AX professional experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
At least 3 years of implementing Microsoft Dynamics F & O / AX : knowledge of all the streams/ disciplines of F&O
At least 3 years of experience in the Food industry and/or have been active as an ERP (such as Infor, SAP, RBK, JD Edwards, Oracle) consultant for at least 4 years.
Ability to listen actively, organize meetings and present yourself.
Understanding of the customer's processes.
Must have strong analytical skills.
Effective communicator.
Ability to speak other languages (Dutch, German, French, etc.) would be helpful.
