Litigation Associate Attorney
The candidate will manage a litigation caseload from inception to completion either independently or under the supervision of other attorneys. Conduct excellent legal research and provide thoughtful written analyses of legal questions. Draft motions and briefs with minimal supervision. Work closely with other attorneys to provide recommendations for resolving legal issues. Communicate with clients and provide detailed reports on case status. Handle depositions and court appearances. Must have JD degree from an accredited law school. Must be admitted to practice in Louisiana. Should have 6+ years of experience. Maritime law, General Commercial Litigation, Commercial and Products Liability or Personal Injury experience preferred. Experience drafting discovery and motions a must. Experience handling court appearances, depositions and trial experience a plus. Should have excellent research and writing skills. Must have superior written and oral communication skills.
