Construction Coordinator - Philadelphia Suburbs!! $70-80k
The construction coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of commercial real estate projects. This individual will work with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the client's specifications.
Responsibilities:
Managing all aspects of the construction process, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
Approving plans and designs, and ensuring that they comply with regulations and safety standards.
Monitoring the progress of construction work, and coordinating with contractors to resolve any issues that arise.
Preparing reports and presentations to update clients, stakeholders, and management on project progress.
Ensuring that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained before construction begins.
Handling documentation and paperwork related to the project, including contracts, change orders, and invoices.
Overseeing the hiring and training of construction workers, and ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their jobs.
Collaborating with other departments within the company to ensure that the project meets the company's goals and objectives.
The ideal candidate should have a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Several years of experience in real estate construction, with a proven track record of successfully completing large-scale projects is required.
Good analytical skills and attention to detail are also essential in this role, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients and contractors. Finally, the candidate should be able to work under pressure and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
