Manager - Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology','Full-time','Director/Manager/Supervisor','1','1','','','Occasional','Occasional','KENTUCKY-LEXINGTON-SAINT JOSEPH HOSPITAL','','!*!The Manager will be responsible for all aspects of operational management for Invasive and Interventional Cardiology and Vascular services performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Suite.  This includes provision of resources, coordination and development of services to meet organizational objectives, development of policies and procedures, implementation of performance improvement programs, administration of operational and capital budgets, and collaboration with medical staff.Maintains clinical safety standards, makes recommendation for improvements, conducts quality audits, and facilitates management directives.Collaborates with the Unit Education Coordinator to train new staff, validate competencies, and provide preceptorship.Collaborates with the Cath Lab Medical Director for management of clinical services standards.Maintains regulatory and voluntary accreditation status and readiness.Responsible for staff schedules, payroll, and HR related concerns.Participates in interdepartmental committees.Provides direct leadership for Clinical Coordinator and all staff.Reports to the Director of Heart and Vascular Care.','!*!Qualifications:Excellent management skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities required.  Current license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a RT (R) (CV), or RN.  ACLS required.Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Administration.  Minimum of Associates degree or an equivalent combination or education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be obtained.  Bachelors degree preferred, and required within 5 years.Position requires minimum 5 years experience in Invasive Cardiology with 2 years in Interventional Vascular.  Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.','We’re an equal opportunity employer.
