Family Owned construction company is seeking for a Controller to join their growing team. The company is looking for a candidate who has around 3 years experience in the construction/mechanical industry. The controller, who
will work directly with the President,
should have strong experience with intercompany transactions. The position will also oversee three employees in the administrative and accounting division.
Job Responsibilities:
Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
Assist the owner in the daily banking requirements.
Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions.
Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
Supports budget and forecasting activities.
WIP, job cost accounting experience a plus
SAGE Experience a plus
