Assistant Director of Academic Support and Bar Programs
Duties: Teach academic skills workshops in the summer Mason Enhancement Program for Academic Success (MEPAS); Teach first-year academic skills workshops for 1L students during the fall semester; Organize and administer practice exams for 1L students during the fall semester; Coordinate and implement diagnostic bar examinations for incoming students in the fall and for current students at the end of the spring semester; Coordinate and implement the bar preparation program for graduating students; Coordinate and implement a bar preparations program for alumni; Provide individual counseling and tutoring to students; Serve on the Bar Passage Task Force to design, implement and evaluate programs and services to improve first-time bar passage rates; and Other duties related to academic support, success, retention, and bar preparation as assigned by the Director of Academic Support.
