Preparation of estimates for all incoming projects. Estimator must ensure that the company’s goals for quality, cost and timeliness are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible to obtain all project details between customer contact and/or DW sales rep
Work with purchasing to obtain estimates for all buyout pricing
Coordinate with engineering department to determine structural integrity and most cost effective solution while providing a variety of solutions for customers to choose from
Figure out material take offs and labor hours to complete project
Coordinate and/or provide all drawing and rendering needs
Prepare estimates for custom furniture projects based on project details, includes pricing and written descriptions that are professional packages promoting the company as the highest quality producer in the industry
Customer service, providing additional information, etc.
Position involves acting as the company liaison between dealers, architects, designers, sales reps and internal departments
Responsible to download projects that are awarded to Project Management, Drafting, Engineering, Purchasing and Production to ensure success.
Provide estimates to customers which are clear, concise and within timeframe requested
Obtain and maintain competitive information which can be used when competing with other competitors
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
Education: Bachelors degree preferred
Experience: Preference given to those with contract furniture experience.
