Part-time Evening Paralegal Instructor
The candidate will teach on ground classes in the ABA approved Paralegal Studies Associate degree program. Will teach in the area of Immigration Law. Additional duties include contacting, advising and tutoring students through regular office hours and ad hoc sessions. Maintain current and accurate attendance and grade records. Develop stimulating daily lesson plans. Also expected to remain current in their teaching field and to participate in faculty meetings, instructional seminars, and in-service training sessions. Must have at least a Bachelor's degree or higher (J.D. degree is preferred). Must have 4+ years of work experience in the legal field. Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver content, facilitate course discussions and motivate students to maximize their classroom experience. Must have the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. Prior on ground teaching experience would be an asset. Instruct classes according to an approved course syllabus using accepted and effective teaching methods in such a way as to contribute to the achievement of the institutional goals. Spanish skills are preferred.

Available evening course schedules are as follows:
Monday and Wednesday: 6 pm to 9 pm
Monday and Wednesday: 9:15 pm to 10:45 pm
Monday through Thursday: 6 pm to 7:30 pm
Monday through Thursday: 7:45 pm to 9:15 pm
