Part-Time Student Legal Programs Associate
The candidate must have Work Study Funds. Provide legal referrals to Minnesota artists through the Minnesota Lawyers for the Art’s referral program in a timely fashion, as well as tracking and reporting for referrals. Research and create fact sheets on common legal topics for Springboard clients. Assist in developing curriculum and providing coordination of legal workshops. Assist in scheduling events and meetings for participating attorneys. Assist in outreach to law firms for recruiting potential attorney participants. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent and currently enrolled U of MN student in a graduate or undergraduate degree program. Should be currently pursuing a J.D., though non-law school candidates with professional experience in the legal field are also invited to apply. Experience in the visual, performing or literary arts is preferred.
