First Baptist Church of Walton, NY is looking for their next senior pastor (www.waltonfbc.com). Walton is a rural community in the western foothills of the beautiful Catskill Mountains, with a population of 3,100 in the village and around 5,500 in the township. We enjoy all four seasons and have the cleanest air and water in the state of New York. Our average attendance in Sunday worship this past year has been between 100-110 and has been growing in every demographic. We offer programs for children and youth, and partner with the ARC of Delaware County to provide events for adults with disabilities. We are led by an elected Deacon Board that includes men and women, and carry no debt. We have new facilities, all built and paid for, and use them to bless our community every day of the week. We are associated with the American Baptist denomination but operate as an autonomous congregation.
