Director, Global Corporate Compliance
Responsibilities: Setting up and maintaining an effective corporate compliance function. Setting out and drafting processes and guidelines to ensure adherence to legal requirements, professional practices and industry standards. Updating processes to ensure compliance including tissue establishment licensing. Directing program, policies and practices to ensure functional areas are in compliance with all legal and reporting requirements.. Working with stakeholders within the business (for example legal, commercial, clinical compliance, finance, EH&S, HR) to drive compliance including training programs. Educating the business on changes to compliance requirements. Setting up effective metrics and processes to ensure compliance is maintained. Managing and maintaining enterprise and legal risks matrix;. Working with functional compliance teams to maximise overall compliance effectiveness within the organisation. Monitoring of compliance within the organisation. Setting up appropriate monitoring and internal audit capabilities to assess ongoing compliance. Reporting on compliance achievement and providing route forward where any issues are identified. Active member of business continuity management team. Developing and effective training program within compliance function. Using learning management system to ensure effective roll-out of training. Maintaining corporate compliance training calendar. Advising on compliance approaches and compliance issues. Assisting General counsel and Compliance Officer with advice on compliance issues or questions around corporate compliance.
