Job Summary:
Responsible for requirements gathering, technical planning and documentation, design, development, unit testing, implementation, maintenance, and support for enterprise SalesForce installation
Job Responsibilities:
Must be able to assist in performing ongoing analysis of system wellness through architectural reviews, activity monitoring, and design review sessions.
Must be able to identify and comprehend elements of a problem, isolate and interpret implications, identify solutions, and work with the appropriate teams for resolution.
Reviews and understands general business drivers and context for development projects.
Analyzes and resolves problems then implements corrective actions
Develop functional specification describing the data flows and user interfaces of the solution.
Define, document and present for review an architecture/design solution integrating the new application into the existing infrastructure.
Keep abreast of industry best practices including evaluating App Exchange solutions for possible fit.
Play a supporting role in the detailed design definition, training development, user acceptance test case definition, field test rollout and stabilization, training delivery and final project rollout.
Configuring working prototypes and performing business process reviews to validate and refine prototypes.
Defining the Salesforce.com configuration required to support functional and non-functional requirements and business processes.
Preparing formal project documentation, including specifications, requirements summaries, logical system design documents, state diagrams, and test scripts.
Suggests best-practice Salesforce.com or Force.com solutions to address user requirements.
Required Skills, Attributes & Education :
5 years direct experience developing in a Salesforce.com environment with focus on Apex, VisualForce, SOQL and SQL.
Integration experience with Salesforce.com API
Force.com and API development (WSDL, SOQL,SOSL,REST,SOAP)
Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Application Integrations (EAI) ; TIBCO experience is desirable
Extensive experience writing Apex (classes, triggers)
Experience with code coverage cleanup projects
Experience creating and analyzing debug logs
Experience with Informatica on Demand (IOD)
5 years experience with JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery, Java/C, HTML, CSS and/or scripting
3 yrs experience with XML and web based services desirable.
Ability to work all phases of a project including requirements gathering, documentation, design, development, unit and integration testing, and production support
Experience working with various webservice and web development technologies including: XML, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, jQuery
Experience with Oracle or SQL Server database technologies
Experienced in integrating 3rd party or custom built systems with Salesforce.com
