The candidate will be screening leads, and reviewing leads with a supervisor/attorney. Will be completing the intake process thoroughly for approved leads. Opening up insurance claims. Clearing coverage and liability. Handling property damage claims. Assisting clients’ with their medical care. Handling various liens on clients’ files. Requesting and obtaining various records. Reviewing and analyzing all records. Preparing settlement demands. Negotiating lien settlements. Assisting with settlement distributions. Providing clients with excellent customer service by frequently and thoroughly communicating with them. Professionally communicating with insurance companies, other law firms, and medical facilities through verbal and written communication. Maintaining organized and thorough files. Documenting files accurately and in detail on case management software. Providing updates on cases to a supervisor/attorney. Performing other tasks that might be assigned to by a supervisor/attorney.
