Associate Attorney
The candidate will work for state Creditors Rights law firm. The Firm's practice areas include primarily Consumer/Commercial Collection and Insurance Subrogation. The position includes court appearance work, as well as conducting Attorney due diligence reviews of material/work performed by Legal Assistants/Paralegals/Law Clerks (under the direction of an Attorney) - prior to filing with the Court. Should be licensed in Michigan. Only those candidates admitted to the bar should apply. The addition of other Bar admission may be looked at favorably. Should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Previous experience with the following Collection Software is a plus: Collection Partner and/or Cogent. Admission to any of the following states would be a plus: Delaware, Virginia, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maryland, Washington, D.C.
