RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is in command of the CSOC during shift hours and is responsible for directing all activity within the CSOC, managing all CSOC staff during shift hours, and ensuring is communicated to the relieving Shift Supervisor. Responsibilities include:
Reading and understanding all pass down logs/reports
Ensuring proper protocols are followed during incidents/emergency events and ensuring FPS management are aware of major incidents
Ensuring the SMC is aware of all incidents/emergency events
Ensuring the Communication Specialists and Security Analysts are completing required tasks and assisting them as needed.
This position will need to complete these tasks by solving the problems at hand and taking immediate actions as required and ensuring the CSOC has and a sense of urgency when completing all tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
2 years of operations center supervision
Excellent communication skills
Strong knowledge of computers and software application
Certifications: International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED) ETC Certification and The Monitoring Association (TSM) Operator Level 2
