Create a plugin for Logic X Pro (Music DAW)
I authored a book on music cryptography and would like to create a simple plugin for the Logic X Pro. Here is the concept:
1) The user selects a virtual instrument
2) The user selects the plugin that I hire you to make
3) When the plugin is opened, they are able to enter alphabet characters into a text field.
4) The plugin has a convert button that can be clicked when the user is ready.
5) The plugin runs a simple conversion hash. Heres how it works: Each alphabet letter corresponds to a single musical note. So for example the alphabet letter D corresponds to the musical note F# and the alphabet letter O corresponds to the musical not A. Therefore, if they type in the word DO and hit the convert button, the plugin will generate a midi line on that virtual instrument comprised of the musical sequence F# - A.
6) The rhythm of the midi sequence would be constrained to quarter notes by default.
7) If you are able to accomplish this first step, we can build out additional functionality.
