International Law Program Coordinator
The candidate will independently manage the registration process for the year-long LL.M. and ICL LLM summer master's program for foreign lawyers and judges, and exchange students. Will plan, design and continuously adapt the two LL.M. degree and other programs registration processes. Provide administrative counseling to 100+ LL.M. accepted and continuing students regarding registration and enrollment process, financial aid, academic progress/courses choices, program requirements and degree completion. Manage billing and invoicing. Liaison with the Campus Cashier Office and sponsors. Liaison with Graduate Studies, UCD School of Law, and ICL Graduate Group Committees regarding registration and degree completion. Work with Director and work lead to prepare a weekly seminar for the LL.M. students to provide career, academic, visa, Bar and Optional Practical Training preparation. Responsible for planning and coordinating events and field trips. Knowledge of principles of adult learning and continuing education theory and practice is required. Should have experience with cross-cultural environments and international education. Must have experience planning/coordinating courses including conducting research, and collecting and compiling information. Should have experience using interpersonal, communication and customer service skills to work collaboratively in a business office environment. Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Must have experience using writing, editing and proofreading skills for a range of professional communications with knowledge of grammar and punctuation. Experience using organizational and time management skills to work independently to organize and prioritize work projects, assignments and events, and meet deadlines with strict attention to details is a plus. Knowledge of effective marketing methods is preferred. Must have knowledge of UC Davis campus registration, purchasing, accounting and travel reimbursement policies and procedures.
