Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a highly-motivated Sr Principal Project Engineer with extensive EV Project Engineering experience. This position will report to a Business Area director and oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. This position also includes the following tasks: CDRL management, proposal (BOEs and TAs), misc. project support. This role will be from the Electronics and Payloads directorate and will be located at Palmdale, CA.
**Basic Qualifications:**
A Bachelor of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) with 9 years of engineering experience; 7 with Masters in STEM and 5 with PhD in STEM
Microsoft Office skills (Power Point, Word, Excel)
Active DoD Secret clearance and a background investigation within the scope of five years and be able to obtain and maintain a program specific accesses if required.

Salary Range: $81,700.00 - $122,500.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
