LA Testing Inc. /**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.., one of the largest environmental testing firms in the United States, is currently seeking a Full Time Laboratory Technician- Asbestos
for its Huntington Beach, CA laboratory location. LA Testing Inc. /EMSL Analytical Inc. is a growing commercial environmental testing laboratory. This position offers the chance to work for a stable company that is team oriented and offers growth opportunities within the organization.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparation of environmental asbestos samples prior to analysis.
Receive environmental samples and enter Chain of Custody into LIMS system.
Assist with cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Other laboratory and clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, faxing, and copying that may be assigned by lab staff and manager.
Requirements:
Minimum requirement is High School diploma or equivalent.
Some college course work completed a plus.
One to two years of previous academic or commercial lab experience a plus.
Experienced candidates are welcomed and encouraged to apply.
Candidate must be able to distinguish colors in order to perform analysis.
Must be able to work independently and with a team.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced setting, multi-task, and prioritize assignments.
Must have good communication, computer, typing, and organizational skills.
Available Shift:
Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. extra hours and/or weekend work may be needed to meet business demands.
