Director, Labor and Employee Relations
The candidate will be responsible for providing advice and counsel to University employees and management in the administration of the collective bargaining agreements, University Rules, Civil Service regulations and State and Federal Employment regulations. Will oversee the grievance and disciplinary process for bargaining unit and non-bargaining unit employees. Provide relevant training programs for the campus and will assist the General Counsel’s Office in responding to legal issues affecting the employment relationship. Conduct and manage various projects as directed and research policy formation. Should have a relevant Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in human resources managing labor relations/employee relation activities. A relevant Master’s Degree or Juris Doctorate degree is preferred.
