Candidate must have: A PhD in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a closely related field, such as Justice Administration is required, however, ABD candidates may be considered. Degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Demonstrated record of scholarly research and publication, pursuit of external grants at the state and national level, effective teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and service to the university, community and profession. Preferred: All areas of specialization will be considered, however, preference will be given to candidates with a specialization in law enforcement, crime mapping, or courts and judicial process.
