Senior Attorney – Asset Management/Investment Product Development
Responsibilities: Provide representation and counsel to advance business goals with a focus on investment vehicles (e.g., stable value fund, group annuity, investment contracts, funding agreements, etc.), and asset management services for retirement plans. Act as a strategic business partner to a diverse set of stakeholders, including stakeholders within actuarial, compliance, administration, operations, and sales/marketing. Effectively gather diverse sets of requirements from various stakeholders to synthesize and communicate information that supports informed decision-making. Produce quality, defensible contractual language that accurately reflects stakeholder’s intent. Act as a trusted partner by effectively formulating potential risks and outcomes, demonstrating holistic understanding of business goals and risks. Efficiently formulate accurate, comprehensive advice understandable and digestible by lay people. Consistently demonstrate understanding of and motivation to achieve business goals in a legally defensible manner.
