in Delaware is currently seeking to add a Senior Systems Analyst
focusing on Meaningful use to their team.
This individual will be responsible for serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all aspects of Meaningful Use, identifying and defining the information management needs related to Meaningful Use for both PowerChart & Centricity, coordinating, and monitoring and status reporting of all clinical and technological components of all projects related to demonstrating MU of the EHR.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for:
Utilizing business knowledge to identify areas of systems improvement opportunity,
Planning basic approach and method of analysis in order to pre-determine limits of problem and establish course of study and timing,
Conducting assigned studies,
Applying systems analysis methods and techniques in order to identify where and how cost and time-effective improvements can be made or, as necessitated by internal or external regulations.
Maintaining effective user relationships in order to provide a climate receptive to systems improvement and to enhance understanding of the users business concerns as well as participating on user project teams,
Auditing installed system for conformance to objectives and making applicable changes,
Conducting additional training, and
Clarifying procedures to assure full user satisfaction.
Provide support to assigned systems or general services and ensure proper on-call support.
Education and experience requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering or Business Administration. Graduate work in Business Administration is desirable.
Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
Knowledge of hospital and patient accounting, inventory control, patient management and laboratory procedures is highly desirable.
Experience in project management.
