Job Overview
Our client, based in Fermoy, requires a maintenance planner for their established, but expanding business. This is a fast paced (non meat) processing facility, where staff are encouraged to progress and where the average employee has been working there for over 8 years. There is a large maintenance department, managed by a supportive manager, who you will report in to.
Your duties will include:
Prepare preventative maintenance plans and schedules
Act as the primary liaison person between maintenance and operations.
Understand jobs well enough to describe what needs to be accomplished, estimate labour hours, tools, and resources needed to complete different work orders.
Coordinate planned downtimes
Maintain the CMMS System by continually creating and updating Routines, Schedules and associated SOP's
Help with keeping an optimal stock of spare parts and materials.
Maintain preventive maintenance checklists
Do you have previous maintenance planning experience gained in a large manufacturing facility?
