Associate Director, Law School Admissions
The candidate typically represents the university both on campus and off campus in order to contribute to the development and implementation of recruitment strategies, to evaluate the effectiveness of admissions and recruitment initiatives, and to evaluate admissions applications and make recommendations regarding admissions decisions. The core responsibilities of this role are to contribute to and execute strategic recruitment initiatives, to analyze recruitment data, to holistically evaluate applications and make recommendation for admissions decisions, to determine eligibility for special admissions programs, and to present recommendations to final review authority. This role may also plan, execute, and represent the university both on campus and off campus at events via information sessions, interviews, and law school fairs. Lead special programs in support of admissions efforts, including to: 1) Preview Day, an on-campus event for 300 admitted student guests; 2) other prospective/admitted student events on-campus and in other areas of the country; and 3) individual presentations before pre-law and other groups. Lead the social media program of the Law School Admissions Office. This position will also work with the Law School Communications Office on the development of hardcopy and online prospective student materials.
