Part-time Staff Attorney
The candidate will supervise intake, screening and case acceptance; assist in the location of evidence; work with law and undergraduate students engaged in case screening; assist with the preparation of court documents; prepare grant reports; and keep current in relevant law. Must have Juris Doctor degree and licensed to practice law in Michigan. Should have strong verbal, written, and organizational skills; service oriented, self-directed, and able to deal with complex decision-making. Experience and knowledge in post-conviction practice and DNA science is preferred.
