The candidate will teach first-year legal research and writing and to serve in the Writing and Learning Resources Center starting in the 2015-16 academic year. Will teach two seminar-sized sections of the research and writing course ("Research, Reasoning, Writing, and Advocacy") per semester and occasionally teach academic-excellence workshops or provide individual and group educational counseling or tutoring. Should have Juris Doctorate. Must have a Bar admission, and practice or clerkship experience. Should have an outstanding academic record, the ability and desire to work collaboratively on an established team, and experience or demonstrated potential in teaching. A strong plus would be additional experience or degrees in education, counseling, or academic-excellence work.
