Associate/Senior Associate Counsel - Real Estate
The candidate will support a wide-range of real estate law needs including complex P3 development projects; real property acquisitions and sales (including gift properties); real property tax exemptions; commercial and residential leasing (including ground leasing); campus housing issues, facility use agreements; telecommunication licensing agreements, SNDAs, and easements. Will include primary responsibility for P3, industry co-location and real property legal issues related to firm's’s New York City Tech Campus. Also should be familiar with private use and private benefit limitations, commercial contracts, grant agreements, and non-disclosure agreements. J.D. or L.L.B. degree required. Must have 10+ years of experience and an exceptional record of relevant accomplishment. Must be a member of, or eligible for prompt reciprocal admission to, the New York State Bar. Should be proficient with computer technology, multi-tasking, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to work as a team member in a small in-house counsel’s office that handles a high volume and varied portfolio of legal matters.
