RN - Apollo - Full Time/Nights - $15,000 Sign On Bonus
SUMMARY: Experienced external candidates may be eligible for a sign on bonus up to $15,000.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for providing competent nursing care. Responsible for coordination of the patient's plan of care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions that lead to established outcomes. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. policies.
Starship Apollo provides care for infants and children with acute and chronic respiratory diagnoses such as asthma, cystic fibrosis, bronchitis and respiratory syncytial virus. This 36-bed unit has 14 rooms with central monitors, to closely monitor patients with increased needs for respiratory support and intervention. Nursing and respiratory care practitioners collaborate in the care of patients on Apollo.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A) a graduate from an accredited nursing program. BSN strongly preferred; B) an active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN); C) Life Support Certifications (see specifics below); and D) experience to correlate with Clinical Ladder level. Bilingual skills desirable.
Life Support Certifications Required: 1) Heart Code Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days; 2) Focused Pediatric Resuscitation (FPR) within 12 months.
POSITION DETAILS: Full Time, 69 Hours per pay period, night shift
