Assistant Professor, Human Services Law/Junior Faculty
Duties: Participating in the planning of, and teaching in, programs and conferences for public officials; Advising public officials and others by telephone and email about legal and policy issues affecting social services and consolidated human services agencies; Writing practical scholarship that helps public officials do their jobs accurately, fairly, and efficiently. Such scholarship may include books, articles, reports, and blog posts, and may build on existing resources or may represent entirely new resources.
Requirements: JD Degree, excellent writing skills, strong academic background, and a demonstrated commitment to public service required. Experience, demonstrated interest, and/or advanced training in social services, public health, or a related field is desirable. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Law students who are graduating in May 2021 are encouraged to apply.
Preferred start date is January 1, 2021.
