IP Paralegal / Legal Assistant
The candidate will assist attorneys with the prosecution of patents and trademarks at the USPTO. Will be responsible for preparation of patent-related documents and filings, preparation of trademark-related documents and filings, management of client files and related administration, proofreading, filing, docketing, transcription, and handling of other various correspondence with clients. Prior patent paralegal/legal assistant experience is highly desired. People with strong English and writing skills, and in particular Journalism majors, English majors and high-school level teachers will be considered. Should have strong English/grammar and proofreading skills, and proficiency with MS Office, especially Word.
