Title IX Coordinator

Duties: Lead efforts across the university to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Section 304 of the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013, and the UH System Sexual Misconduct policy which includes training, programming, and investigating. Report to the Executive Director, Human Resources and Affirmative Action. Oversee case management of reported Title IX incidents. Lead and/or assist with formal complaint investigations. Collaborate and consult with the Dean of Students, University Police, Counseling Services, Student Services, Enrollment Management, Student Administration Management, University Communications, Office of Institutional Effectiveness, Equal Opportunity Services, as well as faculty, staff and students. Conduct and/or coordinate comprehensive educational training and outreach programming. Develop and maintain educational materials and resources. Accurately maintain case files and reporting statistics. Serve on the Chancellor’s Sexual Violence Education Advisory Committee and Compliance Committee. Perform other job related duties as assigned.
