Lawyering Program Faculty
The candidate will teach a two-semester course. Will be layering introduces first-year law students to legal analysis, fact development, legal research, legal writing, oral advocacy, and client counseling in litigation and transactional settings. That provides significant support for faculty scholarship and preparation for entering the law teaching market; most Lawyering professors move into tenure-track teaching and other positions in academia. Must have a JD degree, excellent academic record, Bar admission, significant practice experience (generally 3+ years of clerkship).
