We are requesting an external financial audit for our condominium owners association. We are a small, 35 unit complex located in Houston, Texas. Our books have not been audited in over 5 years and we understand this is Texas law. The COA board is refusing to do it, claiming it is too expensive. Meanwhile our monthly fees have been increased and we have routine, annual assessments.
