Associate / Senior Associate Director

The candidate will report to the Executive Director, Advancement and Associate Dean, College Law School and is responsible for the qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individuals who are capable of making gifts of $100K-$999,999, including transformational gifts at the multi-million dollar level in support of the University's capital campaign. Manages a portfolio of 200 or more donors and prospects and is expected to meet specific goals for contacts and completed solicitations within the context of a major Capital Campaign. To be successful in meeting those goals, will devise strategies for guiding the relationship and for the ultimate solicitation of prospects. Recruits and supports volunteers who may be helpful with any phase of the fund-raising process, works closely with faculty and administrators of the Law School in developing and articulating gift opportunities that further the mission and aspirations of the School, and writes effective solicitation letters and proposals. Will be expected to participate actively and supportively in the overall objectives of the team, as well as collaboratively with peers in other fundraising units including Gift Planning, Athletics, and School Development, with the aim to maximize overall fundraising.
