Apex Systems has an immediate direct hire opportunity for a Sr. UI Designer in the downtown Baltimore Maryland area supporting a large multimedia client. This position will play a key role in building out mock ups and designs. Please see below for specific skill sets and duties. Role: Senior UI Designer
Location: downtown Baltimore
Length: direct permanent opportunity
Reports to: Development Manager / Technical Architect
Group: Team of 30 that oversees Platform Builds
Technical Landscape: CSS3, HTML 4/5, jQuery, JavaScript, SASS, LESS, PhotoShop, Agile Scrum (with 1 month sprints)
Project Overview / Responsibilities:
Participate on UI design of all 3 platforms they’re building.
Requirements gathering and analysis of UI / interface
Visability Design
Translate mock ups and designs into HTML templates
Define UI / Usability Standards
Requirements:
Senior level capabilities
Good understanding of responsive lay outs and design
Experience with CSS3 (personal experience is fine)
Experience with HTML5 (personal experience is fine)
Knowledge of SASS or LESS extensions
Desire to work with newer technologies
