If you’re hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there’s only one choice.\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tBusiness Program Manager \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tYOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tThe primary responsibilities of this role, Business Program Manager are:\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tLeadership:\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDrive strategic initiatives on the Portfolio Management & Capabilities (PMC) team by leading and making expert recommendation on strategic direction;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tLead change by collaborating and influencing across the Product Supply global and regional communities (make, plan, deliver) and crossfunctional counterparts (Commercial, HR, IT, Finance, Procurement) to adopt new processes and tools and optimize current way of operating (optimize site and field manufacturing operations, adopt field, customer care, logistics optimization tools etc.;)\r\n\t\r\n\t\tEstablish and perform stakeholder management across all Product Supply leadership levels Build strong and effective project teams; effectively manage issue resolution and optimize team dynamics;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tManage, lead, and influence the project management teams to execute and deliver quality initiatives on time, in scope and within budget Responsible for partnerships with procurement & vendor management teams to ensure vendor performance and delivery expectations are met throughout all stages–from request for proposal (RFP) through execution and project completion;\r\n\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tGovernance Structure and Best Practices Management:\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDesign, establish and operate day-to-day strategic program governance structures for consistency in tracking program performance, statuses, and benefit realization across workstreams. This governance includes project plan management & execution across inter-dependent workstreams, delivery roadmaps, resource plans, program level financial management, change control management, communications planning, reporting to include success metrics, KPIs, tracking mechanism, etc.;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tUtilize Project Management Institute (PMI) principles and best practices to drive program governance, process, and tool standardization across program workstreams and geographies;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tBuild effective team models with clearly defined roles & responsibilities throughout the project/program lifecycle while supporting an established meeting & reporting cadence to facilitate progress;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tExecute a defined change control management process for awareness of any changes impacting approved scope, schedule, or budgets to effectively manage & mitigate risks. \r\n\t\r\n\t\tBuild and execute risk management process to include ongoing risk mitigation reporting to provide visibility to senior management, enabling a defined escalation path;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tIdentify/manage cross-program and cross team interdependencies to eliminate capability duplication and optimize use of limited resources.\r\n\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tYour success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tRequired Qualifications:\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tBachelor’s degree OR 10 years work experience in project/program/portfolio management.\r\n\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tPreferred Qualifications:\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tBachelor’s degree in engineering, agriculture, business, or communications with at least 10 years of experience in project/program/portfolio management, OR MBA with at least eight years’ experience in project/program/portfolio management;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tProject Management Institute and/or Change Management certification (s;) \r\n\t\r\n\t\tEffective team player with experience in leading global, cross functional teams Distinguished leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to motivate people, create team spirit, and manage conflict/change Proven ability to utilize various communication methods to effectively deliver significant points to broad audiences.\r\n\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tThis position may include opportunity to work up to 100% remote.
