Associate Litigation Attorney
The candidate will draft and organize legal documents, including but not limited to, pleadings, motions, complaints, demands, and discovery, ensuring exceptional spelling, grammar, format, and content. Conduct legal research and factual investigation. Analyze statutes, decisions, legal articles, codes, documents, and other relevant data to advance case preparation and determine causes of action. Participate in calendar management, docketing, and preparation for depositions, mediations, and trials. Appear at depositions, attend hearings/mediations, and assist at trials. Maintain clear lines of communication with clients, counsel, court, and others. Organize and maintain client files in the case management system. Oversee document filing with the court. Communicate with the administrative team to ensure that correspondence, client education, and other literature are mailed to clients. Handle case negotiations. Conduct settlement preparations. Perform other duties as directed by the Managing Attorney to meet the ongoing needs of the firm.
