The candidate must have 2+ years of experience in employee benefits. Should preferably have 2+ years of benefits and employee compensation experience in a law firm, consulting firm, or as in-house counsel, a background in health and welfare plans, qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, and experience and working knowledge of employee benefits laws including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA and applicable sections of the Internal Revenue Code. Must have excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills, a record of academic achievement, and be self-starters who are able to work within a team environment and on their own.
