Alumni Relations Director

Duties: Develops, coordinates, promotes, maintains and evaluates programs and special events sponsored by the College of Law to promote continued involvement and support of University alumni and students. Provides strategic direction of College of Law boards, chapters and committees to promote continued involvement and support of University alumni and students. Establishes budgetary goals and ensures program expenditures do not exceed allocated budget. Develops and implements outreach programs to engage alumni as program participants to ensure a continued investment with the University. Plans, coordinates and attends special campus and community events, such as commencement, homecoming, reunions and recognition banquets. Oversees the daily operations of the alumni chapter program. Sustains and strengthens local, national and international alumni chapters. Coordinates and trains volunteers who work on events, projects and programs. Ensures an appropriate volunteer base. Coordinates the development of content and design of assigned publications and on-line media. Represents the organization at various community and/or business meetings; promotes existing and new programs and/or policies. Maintains effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students and the public.
