Who We Are
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is a vibrant and growing congregation in the Canyonlands of Texas that places a high value on ministry to students. We are seeking a catalytic leader to lead our vibrant ministry to students.
As a church, we invest a significant portion of our ministry resources into ministry to students and children. There is a unique next-generation ministry culture at FCC. The Catalyst building, dedicated to student ministry, was completed in 2013. Approximately 25 adult volunteers are involved in student ministry every week at FCC. Our students participate in a week-long camp in Colorado every summer and we host a large Disciple-Now Weekend every Spring. Our high school students have participated in mission ventures in inner-city Houston, TX, Memphis, TN and Guatemala. FCC also has a strong youth ministry intern program. As a church, we give our students opportunities to participate in and lead out in many arenas of church life. We believe it is an important part of their spiritual growth. We believe strongly that a leader with a vision and desire to build a great ministry to students will be very fulfilled at our church.
The current Minister of Students, who has led our student ministry for 5 years, has felt led of the Lord to move to Midland, TX for a rare opportunity to work with a large non-profit. His ministry has been strong, and we believe that the new Minister to Students has the opportunity to build a ministry on a very solid foundation.
The student ministry at FCC took a big hit with Covid, but we are still consistently seeing 40-50 students (7
th
grade - college) in our two Wednesday Night ministries. We have so many amazing students at our church! Many of the students at FCC are key leaders in their schools. Many students who have left FCC are leading out in ministries on University campuses and several are in full-time ministry.
Borger Middle School (800 students) is directly across the street from our church. The potential for ministry to middle school students is huge! Borger High School (800 students) competes in class 4A and many in the faculty and administration of Borger ISD are eager to see youth pastors involved in student life. Frank Phillips College (1,500 students) is a vibrant 2-year college with student athletes from all over the USA and the world.
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is a non-denominational Bible Church founded in 1968 that has a long history of strong emphasis on Bible teaching and ministry to younger generations. In the previous 15 years FCC has grown from 35 in attendance to an average of 250 with great potential for growth. We are blessed to have a broad spectrum of Christ followers from all age groups. The largest and fastest growing portion of the congregation at FCC is young families. We believe that a young couple or family that comes to our church will make lifelong friendships. FCC is a gracious, generous, loving, and exciting community of Christ followers.
Borger is a small town (pop. 13,000) 50 miles north of Amarillo. We are within a 6 hour drive to Colorado Springs, Denver, Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Oklahoma City and Dallas! We are only a 5-hour drive from the mountains of New Mexico (great skiing, fishing, camping, etc.). Borger is also a great place to raise a family.

What I liked about the service is that it had such a comprehensive collection of jobs! I was using a number of sites previously and this took up so much time, but in joining EmploymentCrossing, I was able to stop going from site to site and was able to find everything I needed on EmploymentCrossing.
