Litigation Paralegal
Candidate with a certificate of completion from a paralegal program approved by the American Bar Association and 5+ years’ experience as a Litigation Paralegal in the State of California is required. Should also have experience scanning, coding, uploading, storing and printing of documents, as well as developing and implementing databases to manage, sort, index, analyze and summarize large volumes of data. A strong understanding and working knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure is required as well as the ability to perform legal research; conduct asset searches and basic investigation; draft and issue subpoenas; draft medical record chronologies (which is a must); draft billing summaries (including Howell/Hanif calculations); and draft, summarize and index discovery and documents. Should have experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and additional experience is preferred with Summation; Concordance; and/or Trial Director. Extensive experience summarizing medical records is welcome.
