Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate with projects experience to join the Energy and Natural Resources Group in Washington. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 8 years of experience in project development, M&A, and project finance transactions.

Duties

• Represent developers, manufacturers, sponsors, investors, and lenders in project development.
• Engage in M&A and project finance transactions.
• Draft and negotiate supply agreements, EPC agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Work on energy and infrastructure projects, including renewable energy projects.

Requirements

• 2 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Active bar membership in the state of practice.
• Experience in energy and infrastructure project development preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar membership.

Skills

• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage complex transactions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
