A law firm seeks a Business Immigration Associate in San Diego, California. Duties

• Independently oversee and manage complex immigration assignments, utilizing legal precedents to develop creative solutions for specific client situations.



• Research intricate technical immigration issues, formulate strategies, and execute case preparation and filings with minimal supervision.



• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners and clients, by participating in meetings, briefings, and proactive reporting.



• Supervise and mentor junior associates and staff, ensuring adherence to firm protocols for file maintenance, record keeping, and data quality.



• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, standardization, and quality while engaging in marketing and business development activities.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience at the Associate level with an exceptional working knowledge of immigration law.



• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.



• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a dedication to providing exceptional client service.



• Ability to articulate complex issues to various audiences and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.

Education

• U.S. JD or LLM required.

Certifications

• Member of a U.S. State bar or Washington DC bar association.

Skills

• Team management experience preferred.



• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



• Ability to leverage valuable skills and experience to make an impact on client accounts.
