Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate for its Global Finance Group in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves representing financial institutions and alternative lenders on diverse fund finance products and derivatives transactions across various asset classes.

Duties

• Manage client relationships and drive transactions forward independently within a rapidly growing practice.
• Advise on NAV financings, subscription financings, asset-backed financings, secured lending, and derivatives matters.
• Participate in the strategic growth of the practice by handling a broad range of fund finance products.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in fund finance, including NAV, subscription, or asset-backed financings.
• Experience with secured lending and/or derivatives is highly desirable.
• Must be admitted or eligible for admission to the North Carolina bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active or eligible bar admission in North Carolina.

Skills

• Strong ability to manage client relationships and move complex transactions forward independently.
• Expertise in diverse fund finance products and derivatives across multiple asset classes.
