The candidate will develop and/or update course syllabus in consultation with the UCLA Extension Program Director; Prepare and deliver course materials and learning assessments in assigned format; Utilize the Canvas Learning Management System as the course support platform; Evaluate student achievement and assign grades; Respond to student questions and learning needs in a timely manner; Communicate with Program Director, Program Representatives; Participate in Instructor Meetings twice per year; Stay current regarding the legal profession and amend course materials to maintain relevance, rigor and currency. Should have 7+ years of experience in the legal profession. Must have understanding of the practical skills paralegals need to effectively and competently contribute to a successful legal team and ability to design learning activities that develop such skills. College-level teaching experience helpful. Must be committed to the highest level of academic standards and integrity.
