The role involves preparing wills and wealth transfer documents for clients with diverse family circumstances and wealth levels.

Duties

• Lead and advise clients on estate planning and wealth transfer strategies.
• Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills and trusts.
• Manage all aspects of trust and estate administration.
• Oversee the client experience from consultation to follow-up.
• Stay informed on estate planning, tax, and asset protection developments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in trust and estate planning.
• JD degree with excellent academic credentials.
• Admitted and in good standing in New York State.
• Experience in tax, special needs planning, and elder law is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong professional judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients.
• Proactive, resourceful, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.

Education

• JD degree required.
• LLM in tax is a plus but not required.

Certifications

• Admitted and in good standing in New York State.
