Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join their Savannah, Georgia office. This role offers the opportunity to handle a variety of transactional and advisory matters while contributing to the firm's growth in the Southeast.

Duties

• Advise clients on corporate, transactional, and commercial matters, including business formation, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements such as equipment purchase, sale, lease, financing, and rental contracts.
• Support clients through domestic and international transactions with practical, business-minded counsel.
• Assist with dispute resolution matters, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation as needed.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted point of contact.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff across offices to deliver seamless, high-quality service.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia (or eligibility for admission).
• 3+ years of relevant legal experience, with a background in corporate, transactional, or commercial law strongly preferred.
• Strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the work done.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Interest in the equipment, rental, manufacturing, or auto industries is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia (or eligibility for admission).
