Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Foreclosure Litigation Attorney in Tallahassee, FL, to handle complex foreclosure cases and provide guidance to other attorneys. This fully remote role involves drafting legal documents, attending mediations and court appearances, and collaborating with the state team to manage delinquent loans for institutional clients.

Duties

• Draft and review legal documents for second-level review by the Supervising Attorney.



• Organize case files, track legal deadlines, and coordinate logistics with paralegals and legal assistants.



• Attend mediations, court appearances, and sheriff's sales, including advance preparation.



• Collaborate with state team members and actively participate in weekly state meetings.



• Engage in one-on-one weekly meetings with the Supervising Attorney to discuss case strategy.

Requirements

• Must be licensed in Florida and in good standing in all relevant jurisdictions.



• Demonstrated ability to work in a congenial, team-oriented manner.



• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to change.



• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Florida Bar license.

Skills

• Experience handling complex foreclosure litigation cases.



• Ability to provide guidance and support to other attorneys.



• Strong case management and logistical coordination abilities.
