The candidate responsibilities include: Implementing good coding practices with a strong commitment to existing company coding standards; providing ideas for improvement of said standards, if/as needed. Participating in code review meetings and other opportunities for knowledge sharing. Providing regular status updates to supervisor and project team, in addition to as-needed notification of circumstances that may adversely affect the project schedule. Providing estimates for work effort. Scripting, documenting and providing a rollback plan for every change - does not implement loose changes. Team Foundation Server (or some other version control software) must be employed in code development. Assisting with changes to existing applications and data feeds. Interacting with users and other teams to efficiently troubleshoot issues. Diligently documenting resolved issues and development process. Designing/developing .NET applications and modules. Developing application code for new and/or converted systems on an as-needed basis, remaining consistent with coding standards. Providing automation of tasks that follows existing coding and documentation standards. Performing such other duties as may be assigned by the Developer’s supervisor, manager and/or Director of Technology. Working with outside vendors as appropriate: software vendors, consultants, integrators. Should have Degree in Computer Science or related course of study from a major college program; OR degree in another field, supplemented with additional job experience and/or non-degree courses in computer systems studies. 3-5 years of relevant experience (with specific dedication to programming/development) required. Experience with C#.NET, ASP.NET, T-SQL, XML, HTML and/or JavaScript is required. Must have experience in analysis of business requirements and functional specifications. Should have experience in systems development and implementation. Must have excellent interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with professional, clerical and administrative staff members.
